ডিগ্রি পরিবর্তনের শর্টকাট রুলস (Transformation of Degree Rules)

Transformation of Degree মানে ইংরেজি গ্রামারে Positive, Comparative, এবং Superlative ডিগ্রির মধ্যে বাক্য পরিবর্তন করা। নিচে সহজ নিয়ম ও উদাহরণ দেওয়া হলো:

১. Positive থেকে Comparative

• Rule: Transformation of Degree-এ Comparative ডিগ্রিতে “than” ব্যবহার করতে হবে।
  • Example:
    • Positive: Ram is as tall as Shyam. (রাম শ্যামের মতো লম্বা।)
    • Comparative: Shyam is not taller than Ram. (শ্যাম রামের চেয়ে লম্বা নয়।)

২. Positive থেকে Superlative

• Rule: Transformation of Degree-এ Superlative ডিগ্রিতে adjective-এর আগে “the” যোগ করতে হবে এবং “of/in/among” ব্যবহার করতে হবে।

    • Positive: No other city is as busy as New York. (নিউইয়র্কের মতো ব্যস্ত শহর আর নেই।)
    • Superlative: New York is the busiest city. (নিউইয়র্ক সবচেয়ে ব্যস্ত শহর।)

৩. Comparative থেকে Positive

• Rule: Transformation of Degree-এ “than” এর পরিবর্তে “as…as” ব্যবহার করতে হবে এবং বাক্য সাজাতে হবে।

    • Comparative: Rohan is stronger than Mohan. (রোহন মোহনের চেয়ে শক্তিশালী।)

• Rule: Transformation of Degree-এ Superlative ডিগ্রিতে adjective-এর আগে “the” যোগ করতে হবে এবং “than” এর পরিবর্তে “of/in/among” ব্যবহার করতে হবে।

৫. Superlative থেকে Positive

• Rule: Transformation of Degree-এ “no other” ব্যবহার করতে হবে এবং বাক্য সাজাতে হবে।

    • Superlative: Everest is the highest peak. (এভারেস্ট সবচেয়ে উঁচু শৃঙ্গ।)
    • Positive: No other peak is as high as Everest. (এভারেস্টের মতো উঁচু শৃঙ্গ আর নেই।)

৬. Superlative থেকে Comparative

• Rule: Transformation of Degree-এ “the” এর পরিবর্তে “more” ব্যবহার করতে হবে এবং “than” যোগ করতে হবে।

    • Superlative: She is the most intelligent student. (সে সবচেয়ে মেধাবী ছাত্রী।)

৭. সাধারণ নিয়ম (General Rules)

• Adjective-এর পরিবর্তন:
  • Positive: tall (লম্বা), big (বড়), good (ভালো)
  • Comparative: taller (লম্বা), bigger (বড়), better (ভালো)
  • Superlative: tallest (সবচেয়ে লম্বা), biggest (সবচেয়ে বড়), best (সবচেয়ে ভালো)
• “other” ব্যবহার: যখন একটি জিনিসকে বাকি সব কিছুর সাথে তুলনা করা হয়, তখন “other” বা “any other” ব্যবহার করতে হবে।
• “very” ব্যবহার: Positive ডিগ্রিতে জোর দিতে “very” ব্যবহার করা হয়।
